Parlor King - The John Adam Treutlen Room
Our Parlor King guest room has a bath and shower combination and is located on the Parlor Level next to the Music Room. The room is named after John Treutlen, an orphan at the Lutheran settlement of New Ebenezer in the early 1730s, Treutlen represented the Ebenezer district in the Provincial Congress. In 1777, he became the first elected Governor for the state of Georgia and died a martyr's death during the Revolutionary war.
