Plan Your Stay With The Kehoe House

THINGS TO DO IN SAVANNAH

Savannah's such a wonderful city to visit, and The Kehoe House's location will have you right in the center of  everything you'll want to see.   As a guest of The Kehoe House, you have our Concierge and Guest Services team always ready to suggest where to eat, what to see, to organize tours, and just help you make the most of your visit.

Below are a few things most of our visitors inquire about.  If you have questions, just ask!  We're here to help!

Enjoy the Squares

One of the most enjoyable thing to do in Savannah is also one of the easiest!  Stroll through the beautiful squares! You can start right away with Columbia Square right in front of the Kehoe House.  Then, we often suggest going to Bull Street (start near City Hall) and walk 20-minutes to Forsyth Park.  You'll be right in the center of some of Savannah's prettiest squares, amid shopping, and spots for a drink or a cup of coffee.

Shop the Boutiques

There are 3 areas of shopping in historic Savannah that you'll want to hit.  The boutiques along Broughton Street, the specialty stores along Liberty, and the Downtown Design District area.   From local specialty shops like Shop SCAD, Savannah Bee, E. Shaver Bookseller and Satchel to boutiques like Paris Market & Brocante, Terra Cotta, and Harper Boutique, there's much to see and buy in Savannah!  The Concierge team here will point you in the right direction for a day of shopping fun!

Dine Your Way Through Savannah

You'll start your day at The Kehoe House with a fabulous breakfast, but when it's time to eat out, our Concierges know all the places you'll want to try.  Savannah's known for Southern comfort food favorites, and local cuisine.  Some of the restaurants we often recommend are:  A.Lure, Alligator Soul, Cafe M, Garibaldi's, The Grey, Local 11 Ten, 45 Bistro, Olde Pink House, Treylor Park and Vic's on the River.  Just tell the staff here what you're interested in, and we'll make suggestions and reservations for you!

Tour the Town

Especially if you're a first time visitor, we recommend you take a trolley tour to get familiar with Savannah.  There are several tours we like, including a Hop-on and hop-off tour with more than 15 stops that explore Savannah's most important attractions.  Or, if you'd like something more personalized, we also recommend guided walking tours that explore some of the most beautiful sites Savannah has to offer.  And of course, there are ghost-tours galore if the haunted vibes of Savannah is your thing.  Whatever your interests, we can help you arrange a tour you'll love.
